Hello every! Today I am showing you guys what came in my Ipsy bag for this month. I subscribed to Ipsy back in July and I honestly think this is my favorite bag so far. I want to know what you guys got as well so let me know in the comments below!

Processed with VSCOcam

Crown Brush (double-sided):  Full Size: $6.99: I was so sad when I didn’t get this brush a couple months back but was super happy when I saw this in this month’s bag. This brush is amazing! And although double sided brushes aren’t my favorite, I’m still very happy with this. Crown brushes are definitely worth the hype.

Sample cost: $6.99

Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara: Full Size: $20.00: I was so happy to see that everyone got this in their bag this month. It seems fair right? I love this mascara! I’ve used it before and it truly does work awesome. I love the classic and simple brush it has, as well as the great formulation.

Sample cost: $10.00

Coolway Boost Repair Treatment: Full Size: $29.95: I absolutely love getting hair masks or leave in treatments. It is something I really do enjoy trying. I wish there was one hair product sample each month. This made me really happy. It’s a 1 oz sample which I can get at least 4-5 uses out of. I used this today and it left my hair feeling soft. I like it and can’t wait to keep trying it.

Sample cost: $3.74

Cailyn Cosmetics Just Mineral Eye Polish in Orchid:  Full Size: $15.00: OHHH EEMM GEE! I am absolutely in love with this color! I think this may be one of my favorite items Ipsy has every sent me, and it’s FULL SIZE! This is a gorgeous, rich rose champagne color that is super shimmery and flattering on the eyes. Just gorgeous!

Sample cost: $15.00

Nyx Butter Lip Balm in Red Velvet: Full Size: $4.00: Again, everyone received one of these which is great. I love this lip balm and I am convinced I want to purchase more. I have some beef with Ipsy on this one because every single month they send me a red lip product. I hate red on me! This makes me sad because I want to love the items but I do not like red! Oh well, it’s a balm so it isn’t too bad. I’m still happy to use it and think it is a great lip balm.

Sample cost: $4.00

Overall my bag is valued at $39.73 which is an amazing value. I love all five of the products I received, especially because there is 3 full sized items in my bag. Super happy with my Ipsy this month. I want to know if you guys like what you guys received in your bags. Let me know in the comments below :))

How adorable is the theme “Beauty Candy” and how gorgeous do the Ipsy Stylists look? Ipsy hit the mark this month, in my opinion. So here is what I got this month:

Processed with VSCOcam

Nicole by OPI Nail Polish in Feeling Very Cherry: ($6.99 at Ulta) I am a nail polish hoarder so receiving nail polish is one of my favorite things to receive. I was so happy to see this polish. I love the Nicole by OPI brand so even better right? This is a nice deep red, almost black color that is perfect for the fall/winter. And I know we all know how great this brand is right?

Sample size cost: $6.99

Model Co Volumeyes Mascara (Black): (Full size: $20) I thought it was funny that I received a Model Co Mascara in my Ipsy this month and my Birchbox this month, but shoot I ain’t complaining. I love trying new mascaras. The wand on this looks amazing and the packaging is very sleek. I love the hot pink letters. I am worried this might cause clumpy lashes, but I’m willing to work with it.

Sample size cost: About $10

Starlooks Lipgloss in Guilty Pleasure: (Full size: $12) How stinkin’ cute is this little itty bitty lipgloss? I really like this sample. The color is gorgeous and it completely screams ME! lol I love these neutral pinks. I love the pigmentation and I don’t feel it’s that sticky which is a plus. I love it!

Sample size cost: About $4

Epice Purifying Exfoliant: (Full size $32) I was intrigued to see this in my bag this month. It looks like a hotel freebie you get, but I am not going to judge it by its cover. This is a generous amount of product which is nice. I liked the feel of it. It has that sandy exfoliator feel to it. I am happy with this and I am excited to give it a try.

Sample size cost: $9.69 for 1oz

Figs and Rouge Rose Berry Hand Cream: (Full size: $13.20 at feelunique.com) OH MY GOSH! Am I the only one that absolutely fell in love with this thing? I love the smell and I looooove the way it made my hands feel. I will be sad when I use this up. Come to think of it, I think this was my favorite item of this month’s bag. Please let me know if you are as obsessed as I am?

Sample size cost: $6.56 for 20ml

So there you have it folks, my October 2014 Ipsy bag. This bag retailed for about $37.24 and I am not mad at that. I loved this bag! I want to know what you guys got in your Ipsy this month. Let me know in the comments below! :)) Happy Friday!

Product Review: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

Hello everybody!! Today I am sharing with you my thoughts and experience with the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polishes. Read on to find out my thoughts on this product. :))

Processed with VSCOcam

I bought this set called Pink Cadillaquer which came with the nail polish in pink cadillaquer and the gel top coat. I also bought a creamy white color called Creme de la Creme. The set costs $15.99 at Cvs and each individual polish costs $9.99. If it is your first time buying any of these I recommend you getting an actual set because you really do need the gel top coat.

This product claims it is quick to apply and easy to remove. It also says it lasts up to 14 days of color and shine. As far as the application goes, it was a bit thick and a little bit tough to work with. Do not apply this polish if you are in a hurry or looking for something that is fast drying. It’ll be a mess. I did find the pink cadillaquer to be kind of streaky. I used two coats and a little bit of touch up on spots that weren’t neat. With patience you can get this product to work. The top coat itself is necessary. It really sealed in the product and made it last with no chips at all. The only problem I had with it was the fact that it did not dry fast. (Guess I’m just used to my Seche Vite).

This is my polish with 8 days of wear. My index finger nail is only chipped because my nail broke and I couldn’t help but to pick at the polish. If not it would look as nice as the others. Never have I had a polish stay on almost perfectly after 8 days of using it. You could see a little bit of the tips wearing off but no chips at all. I was absolutely impressed with this product and I am looking forward to trying out new colors.

I do think this product will work for some people but it will also not work with other people. If you have the patience then this will work for you. Get the top coat, trust me you need it. I would love to hear anyones thoughts about this? Have you tried this product before? If so let me know in the comments :))
